Letter from Bill Regarding the Hunger Strike

Well, my letter from Bill arrived today, and covers similar territory to Harold Covington, i.e. psychological torture and the sadist with the Taser. I do not put Bill’s letters online usually because I prefer to keep my personal correspondence private.

However, it is very similar to Harold Covington’s letter – a singularly bleak and infinitely depressing document.
The only other news I’ll add to it is that as an after effect of the hunger strike (which also involved no water) there seems to be lingering effects and Bill is having trouble eating anything at all. He definitely sounds very unwell at the time of composition. :(
The letter’s dated 24th so it’s not too much later than usual. Mail services **may** have resumed at the John Polk ‘Correctional’ Facility / Seminole County Jail.
The only good news (amidst the otherwise depressing nature of the letter) is that apparently he’s done some work on Serpent’s Blood.
I’m not sure how much longer he’ll be in this place and quite frankly I’m hoping he gets moved soon, but it may be safe to resume sending mail to this jail.

If you still haven’t seen the original about the John Polk Correctional Centre, here it is again:Bill White, Human Rights Violation

G.d'Annunzio

A noble race is not one that creates a God in its own image but one that creates also the song wherewith to do Him homage. Every rebirth of a noble race is a lyric force, every sentiment that is common to the whole race, a potential lyric; music, the language of ritual, has power, above all else, to exalt the achievement and the life of man. Does it not seem that great music has power to bring spiritual peace to the strained and anxious multitude? The reign of the human spirit is not yet. ‘When matter acting on matter shall be able to replace man’s physical strength, then will the spirit of man begin to see the dawn of liberty’: so said a man of Dalmatia of our own Adriatic, the blind seer of Sebenico.
